Herbie`s in Worcester

Lively, busy place. Food..delicious!! Service..bless those BUSY waitresses. They are pleasant and efficient. Parking..a bit of a challenge because Herbie's is so popular and the parking lot is not very large. But, don't let that keep you from trying Herbie's. You won't be disappointed. Best offering for me...fried scallops. THE BEST AND MOST for your money.

Certainly not the service, but the food made up for it

Fun local place with lots good food and atmosphere. Staff was friendly locals all knew each and even welcomed us in conversation. Recommended!

$5.95 for a fish sandwich... a LARGE fish sandwich with cole slaw and fries. AMAZING taste.

I just moved to Massachusetts from Ohio about 3 weeks ago and this is the first place I had a meal. The food was delicious!!! I have ate there at least 4 more times. It is a little pricey but well worth it and worth the 40 minute drive. Customer service was also nice...

Cute little place. Plenty of seating for parties of 3-4. I think they need more tables for parties of 2. The bar is an okay size. They have Keno. One toilet for a man & female. Menu is mostly seafood, salads & sandwiches. I got the Greek salad which was good. Iceberg lettuce for most of the salads. Not much of soups. The pastrami sandwich was fatty.

I go specially for the fishermen's platter and also the prime rib.

Would not recommend. My mother got food poisoning from this establishment and was hospitalized. Sketchy patrons and waitress was off herself...she seemed miserable and yelled at people for not walking with a mask, rolled eyes and stared at patrons coming and going while serving our table.

Took my girlfriend here for a meal. Our kind of spot. Laid back and casual. I think that steak dinner could be one of the best ones I've ever had. Not to mention it cost $10.95. She had the baked stuffed haddock and loved it.there was a little wait but still five stars because they handled it well and the food was worth every minute of the wait. Making this a regular spot whenever I visit Worcester.

If you like clam chowder, pass this one up.Prices very reasonable. Be prepared to wait for table.

It's a cheap little diner with good food. Overall I have to give 5, but it's not a 5 star restaurant (great atmosphere, service, clean, quiet, roomy, etc), it's a diner.

Amazing fisherman's platter

This place is always hopping when I go. Plan to wait a little while to sit and for your food. It's well worth it for the huge servings though. My fried haddock was very large and really yummy. So were the tartar sauce, fresh cole slaw and fries. I'm already looking forward to trying other menu items. Maybe I'll try Mon-Weds next time.

Went to Herbies on a Tuesday in search of the famous lobster roll, found out it's only served on Saturdays and Modays. Instead I ordered the Fisherman's Platter fried. This included Haddock, which was perfectly cooked, flaky and delicious. the shrimp were a good bite sized. The scallops and fried clams were both wonderful.The coleslaw was great, fresh crisp and flavorful. The tarter sauce I believe was made In house, never had tarter that tasted as good as that.

Wow!!! If you are looking for a quiet relaxing nice ambiance this isn't the place. It is a very clean Bar / restaurant no frills. BUT if you are looking for the best seafood dinner for an awesome price this is the place. The Lobster roll is a huge hit here .. don't be surprised if there is a wait for a table. Be patient the food is worth it and so is the service!

Once the best spot for seafood in Worcester is now very disappointing; got a whole clam dinner today and got mostly rubbery clam strips; also fish and chips sub par; I'd been a longtime regular here but last two orders were terrible.Don't know if ownership has changed but def not going back

I have always been a patron at Herbie's for the seafood. My friend decided to take a long ride and visit the restaurant that I speak highly about the sea food. However I am a very dissatisfied customer today. I ordered my usual haddock dinner and my friend ordered haddock and scallop dinner. I received a piece of fish that was half the size of the regular serving and was not a thick piece of fish at all. A long drive for nothing. The waitress was pleasant and the gentleman helping continually had a smile on his face and was most hospitable to all.

The Reuben was disgraceful! Overcooked and seemed to be old, it had an awful taste.

By far the best chicken tenders anywhere. The fish and chips is excellent, wife had the prime rib and she loves it. We have also tried the charcoal burger, also my wifes favorite. Highly recommended, great service, friendly staff and you can't beat their prices fast service easy in and out traffic.

My 1st time at Herbies. I had the Scallop dinner and I thought it was delicious. The place was packed. There was a little bit of a wait. The service was great and the food came quickly soon after seating. My friend has been going for years and said, "Ive never once had a bad meal here". He had the prime rib....it looked so hood i wanted a bite. I think ill try the prime rib next time.

I go here just for the food, I have never been disappointed! A locales favorite.

If you like great food for a great price you can’t beat HERBIES They have been in business for as long as I can remember The menu is fantastic with so much to choose from My favorite is the fisherman’s platter witch is enough for two people

I like this little local restaurant a lot. The food was great, staff was very nice, and there was plenty of places to sit. Parking's a little difficult and they probably should have at least one more handicap parking place. It's a it's a nice place to go to if you just want to go to a local restaurant. I know we all want support local business!

Horrible gave it a few chances if you like loud annoying regulars and awful bartenders I recommend it

Service great. My husband's swordfish could have been moister. Clam rolls could have been hotter, but everything was very tasty. Fun place with really nice wait staff!

Always love this place.. Hole in the wall atmosphere.. The waitress are really busy so it might be hard sometimes to catch their attention but their portions are big their prices are low and the fried scallops will rock your world!!

Love this place! The staff is awesome, food is great, drinks strong, portions are incredible for the price, which is very fair! And they always have specials! They have keno, a juke box & even breathalyzer machine! Love the fisherman's platter, scallop rolls, and lobster roll! Best around!!

As usual, the food is great!!!!!! We always order the same thing, The fisherman's platter, which is the BEST around. All their seafood is! However, the service is terrible as always. The servers seem to linger around the tables of "regulars" but ignore other diners for long periods. Most of the time we are greeted by a server with a disgusted and bored look on their face and they act as though they missed nap time. We go back weekly because the food is great but we really wish the owners and managers, took more time caring about the quality of service. It's as if they know the food is good enough to keep steady customers so why care about the quality of service!!!

Service was speedy. Lobster roll and fries were very good. Good portions for the price! Won't be my last time here.
